Snow hiking up AF canyon

We went for a "snow hike" up American Fork Canyon with some friends. We borrowed a sled for Avery to ride in. She liked it ok, but mostly she wanted to tromp around in the snow on her own.

It was a beautiful day and we love being outside together!!

But dates with this guy are just the best! I love spending time together, especailly when they include doing one of my very favorite activities!! And the little man inside seemed to like skiing too…don't worry, I was very careful!

New Year's 2014 with the Binghams

I didn't take very many pictures at New Years…but here are a few of the ones that we did get.

Black Ice on Payette Lake! It was pretty amazing! What a beautiful phenomenon of nature!

Avery really enjoyed sliding around out there. She kept saying "slippery!!"

Avery's first time "skiing". She LOVED it!! She went down and rode back up on the chair lift several times with Josh and I, and she loved every minute of it! I can only hope she keeps it up!

Christmas 2013 with the Pugmires

Avery got to make a gingerbread house with Grandma Tami and Grandpa Rex. She was so proud of her creation! I think she had a great time decorating and eating to her hearts content.

We had some pretty good snow storms the week of Christmas. Here is Avery in her new snow suit. I couldn't get her to hold still long enough to take a picture, so I finally just plopped her on the ground. I think she looks so cute in it!!
