Avery's 18 Month Pictures

I forgot to post these…

They were taken in September by the wonderful and talented, Brooklyn Bingham!

Two additions to the family

We bought a second car!! We are thrilled to finally have two of them so that both of us can get around when and where we need to. Yahoo!!

On a more important note…we're having a baby! We expect the baby to arrive mid-May and we couldn't be happier! We are so excited to meet our new little one! We'll be finding out what we are having in January, so you can expect a post then, hopefully with some ultrasound pictures. Avery is going to be a wonderful big sister!

M & J

Since the last post was all Avery, I guess I'll add a few of Josh and I. We've been able to go on a lot of fun dates lately. It is a lot of fun for us to spend time just the two of us.

Avery in all of her crazy cuteness

Since I've been pretty bad about blogging lately, here are a bunch of pictures of Avery over the past few months. Maybe they will give you an idea of what a fun, spunky, crazy, happy, little girl she really is. She is such a joy in our lives and we love her so so so much!!!

Avery and I were coloring on our chalkboard calendar (maybe i'll post a picture of that, we're pretty proud of it) when I took a quick bathroom break. You can't see it too fabulously, but I came back to a face covered in chalk.

Avery was hanging up her blanket on the "oven" just like mom does with the towels downstairs.

This is how Avery wanted to wear her blanket during breakfast one morning. It lasted a lot longer than I thought it would.

Avery loves suckers. This is her chillin picture.

Avery and I having fun in the beautiful fall weather! We love fall!

Josh and Avery got to go swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Anderson's hotel while the girls all went to the SYTYCD show. Josh said they had a lot of fun, but it was made clear to me that she enjoyed herself when the first thing she wanted to do the next morning was go swimming! I guess the bath tub was good enough.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture because of the story behind it. Two days before this, Josh clipped his finger nails while sitting just exactly where Avery is right now. I had completely forgotten about the incident. But Avery hadn't. She found the finger nail clippers in my night stand and when she did, she immediately took off towards the bathroom. Unsure of what she was up to, I quietly watched from a distance. She then brought out the trash can, placed it just so, and began "clipping" her finger nails. I feel so blessed to be a mother and for the opportunity to teach my little girl. Her mind is so open to learning all of the time. No matter what we're doing, she is learning, and I think it's fabulous. I am also beyond grateful for Josh. Avery loves him like I can't believe. She looks up to him and wants so badly to be like him. What an incredible family I am blessed with!!

Just another example of the awesome dad that Josh is. Painting Avery's toenails.

This picture cracks me up. This is the outfit that Avery picked out herself. Her beenie hat and her sandals. When I asked her to smile so that I could take her picture, this was the reaction that I got. Goodness I love her.

One day, Avery got all of her baby dolls together on the table. She then grabbed a book and started reading to them. After story time was over, she got out her fish crackers and gave one to each of them in turn. She's going to be such a good big sister!

Our BYU baby. Complete with one of Daddy's old BYU shirts from when he was a baby. Love it!

Sometimes Avery likes selfless. He he.

This was Avery reading to herself on a rainy day. Avery loves books and we think she's a pretty smart little girl!

Breakfast!

Washing pumpkins with Grandma Tami.

Bowling! She broke 100…and I think she beat me...

Avery loves to go to the library where she can check out a backpack.

BYU Basketball Game.

This girl. I love her. I love her, I love her, I love her! She is such a light in my life and I am so grateful to be her mom!!
