Our arduous search is finally over! We finally found a house last month and we'll be moving into the house later this month. It took lot's of searching and some heart-breaking moments, but we're happy with the house and the area/ward sound promising.
Here are some pictures of the house. The seller's stuff is in the pictures, but we'll probably use similar layouts.
The living room. When you walk in the front door, to the right is the living room. We love the fireplace. It will be a good place for home teachers and visitors.
The windows and view from the living room.
Sorry for the sideways pictures. We tried to fix them, but just want to get these loaded up. This is a view from the front door looking past the living room towards the family room and dining area.
The family room. This is a look at the family room and the windows that look out to the backyard.
This is where we will probably put an entertainment center when we get one. Who knows when we'll get a TV, but it's a nice area to visit in and we're looking forward to future dinners and Christmas trees in this room.
The kitchen and dining area. We like the kitchen and we're thinking we'll probably put granite countertops in someday. You can see the lights that will be right above the dinner table.
The closet to the left is a broom closet. There's a desk for a computer or something else. The closet on the right is the pantry. The farthest door to the right is the bathroom. It's right next to the entrance to the garage.
Here is the northeast corner of the backyard. We really like that the yard is all done and that it is fenced in. Our kids will have a fun time back here.
This is the northwest corner of the backyard.
Here's a good picture of the patio in the backyard. It will be nice to have a BBQ here sometime this next summer.
This is the first bedroom upstairs. The bedrooms aren't huge, but they are big enough for any company we have. Alli has already claimed her room.
Same room, but from the door looking in.
The guest bathroom. I don't think we need to say anything more about the room.
The second bedroom. It's purple, so it may need a paint job. Or maybe Avery will choose this room.
The third bedroom upstairs. The sellers use this as a toy room. We'll probably use it for the same purpose.
The laundry room. No further explanation necessary.
The master bedroom. This is the view looking to the west. It's a good size room. Now we need to find furniture to help fill that side of the room.
The master bedroom looking east.
The master bath. We liked the tub and we're exited to use it since neither of our apartments have had tubs that were suitable or clean enough for baths.
The shower in the master bath. It was hard to find a nice house with a stand alone shower instead of the shower/tub combo. We really like it though!
The master closet.
More of the master closet.
Our favorite part of the house... just kidding. Nothing exciting about the stairs, but we do have them.
The house! Here's a picture of the house, yard, and driveway.
Another view of the front of the house.
The front porch. We'll have to find a bench or chairs to put on the porch.

Bear Lake President's Day
For President's Day weekend this year, we had a "family reunion" with the Pugmires and the Binghams up in Bear Lake! We stayed at Aunt Tam's cabin and had a wonderful time! We got to play in the snow, sled, play games, walk on the frozen lake, eat a lot of good food, and just enjoy each other's company. It was a really neat thing for Josh and I to have both of our families together. We feel so blessed to have the families that we do!!! We are so lucky!
Getting the snow mobile ready for sledding.
O.K. she's adorable. We all know it. She was a champ while we were sledding.
We can't wait till she can join us on the sleds!
Alli, Brookie, and Jacob.
Isn't the view gorgeous?! This is where the Josh grew up sledding every winter, but it was new to me, and I loved it! Such a pretty view of the lake and the valley. Bear Lake is a beautiful place.
Hayden, Tami, Avery.
Josh and Jacob.
Melissa and Hayden.
Michael and Hayden...and maybe some one else...
Grandmas: Tami and Danielle, Melissa and Avery
Smoochy smoochy!!
Mom and daughter. Avery was enjoying gnawing on a piece of jerky.
On Sunday afternoon, we all took stroll out on the lake. It was pretty impressive to see such a massive lake completely frozen over. We sort of felt like we were walking in Antarctica. It was very beautiful afternoon!!
Pugmire clan
Bingham clan
Monday was ski day for the Binghams. We got to "Ski the Beav" and we had a great time! We took turns hanging out with Avery in the lodge while enjoying a fun-filled day on the slopes.
Dad got lonely on the ski lift and took like 7 pictures of himself....I'll spare you the rest of them.
All worn out and hungry after an awesome day!
Thanks for a great weekend to everyone involved!

Adobe Tour
Josh took the fam on a tour of the new Adobe building.
Needless to say, we all now want to be employed by Adobe.
Even Avery got her own name badge.
This is the on-site gym where Josh often plays basketball. There is also exercise equipment, volleyball nets, a soccer field, and a rock wall!
World's largest lava lamps
The spinny chair... what fun!
Adobe Utah. What a place.
Fort Time
So this one time, we decided to build a fort in the family room. Avery wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first. She was a little bit afraid. All and all Josh and I probably had a lot more fun with it than she did, but hey, we need entertainment too, right?
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!
We have been getting a lot of snow here in Orem. Josh has been piling it up as he shovels. This picture is almost as high as it got before it started to melt. If you ask me, that's a lot of snow!!
